The Fredericksburg Campus
The beautiful Fredericksburg campus provides a unique setting for daytime and residential meetings, conferences, and special events. Conveniently located equal distance between Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Va., the campus is a pleasant one-third mile walk to Old Town Fredericksburg, one of the nation’s most historic cities. In close proximity are numerous historic Colonial and Civil War attractions. In addition to the William M. Anderson Center, Dodd Auditorium, and facilities in the Woodard Campus Center, the Fredericksburg campus includes the University Tennis Center, Fitness Center, athletic fields, and on-campus residence halls. Jepson Alumni Executive Center & Kalnen Inn
Located close to the crossroads of I-95, State Route 3, and U.S. 1, the Jepson Alumni Executive Center is a multi-use facility featuring the magnificent Rappahannock Grand Ballroom, the elegant Rectors’ Gallery, the Minor Executive Board Room, and the graciously designed Kalnen Inn at Trench Hill. The facility features wireless connectivity throughout; the Ballroom and the Board Room showcase the latest in audio-visual technology. Dahlgren Campus 

The UMW Dahlgren Campus Center for Education and Research opened in January 2012 and is designed to support the education and continuing professional development of the region’s engineers, scientists and administrative professionals by providing educational programs, services and leased facilities to the NSASP commands, defense contractors and the professional community.  The two-story, 42,000 square foot, technologically sophisticated building includes: 19 classrooms group study rooms with collaboration hardware and software, two computer-enabled classrooms and a 16 seat computer lab; an executive conference room; and, a 2,800 square foot divisible multi-purpose room that will accommodate up to 220 guests seated theater style and up to 150 guests seated banquet/meeting style.  State-of-the-art instructional technology systems, video conferencing capabilities and wired and wireless internet access are available throughout the building that will host educational programs and professional events.  It also is expected that the university’s presence will facilitate the establishment of a viable research presence and contribute to long-term regional economic growth and development.  The ADA-compliant building, is designed to meet or exceed LEED Silver Certification requirements and includes several environmentally-friendly features including low-maintenance landscaping, designated car pool and low-emission vehicle parking spaces, a geo-thermal HVAC system and a vegetative roof. University Galleries
Presenting excellent locations for events of up to 150 guests, the University Galleries feature exhibitions brought from museums around the country and drawn from the University’s permanent collection of more than 6,000 works of art. The Dining Room at Seacobeck Hall
An elegant banquet space located on the Fredericksburg campus, the Dining Room is a traditional Southern-style hall suited for dinners and wedding receptions for up to 180 guests. Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont
Connected to Gari Melchers Studio by a hallway and reception area, the Studio Pavilion is an excellent site for your next meeting, conference, wedding, or other special event. Located just a five-minute drive north of Downtown Fredericksburg and one and one-quarter miles from I-95, the Pavilion offers tours of the historic Belmont Estate and Gari Melchers’ Studio for an additional fee. The Pavilion is equipped with an electronically controlled podium, a remote sound screen, a screen projector, and an Internet connection. The James Monroe Museum
The renovated museum is now available for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, special birthdays, bridal showers, family reunions or other private or University events. The museum garden creates a beautiful and functional space for your next special occasion, with a capacity of up to 60 guests.
