25Live is UMW’s university-wide scheduling system. This system provides a centralized tool for scheduling events and requesting room reservations throughout the university.
There are two ways to book in 25Live. All UMW students, faculty, and staff have access to the Express Scheduling tool for booking short meetings and study sessions in select spaces up to 30 days in advance. Faculty, staff, and other approved users can also access the Event Wizard to submit requests for events all over campus.
25Live is only available to current UMW students and employees. For information on renting UMW venues, please contact the Office of Events and Conferencing.
Student organizations who wish to reserve event space may do so through MyUMW.
Note: The tools on this page are for event scheduling only. Class scheduling requests must go through the UMW Registrar’s Office.
Reserve conference rooms and study spaces for up to two-hour sessions.
All faculty, staff, and students can reserve meetings rooms and study space using 25Live Express Scheduling (max of two hours per session, up to 30 days in advance). Use of this system requires no additional training, and room reservations are approved immediately.
Not all spaces are available for booking in Express Scheduling. If you are interested in booking a space not listed in the the Express Scheduling tool, see the Event Wizard section below.
Express Scheduling can be used on any computer using the Chrome or Firefox web browsers (the system will not work in Internet Explorer) or on a mobile device.
Reserve longer and recurring events (requires approval to access).
Note: The “Create an Event” button to access the Event Wizard will not appear on your 25Live Dashboard until you have contacted the IT Help Desk to upgrade your access.
Faculty and staff can request access to the 25Live Event Wizard to submit longer or recurring reservations, up to one year in advance, in almost any space on campus. Most requests using the Event Wizard require review by a space approver, so please allow up to two business days for confirmation.
The Event Wizard works best on a computer using Chrome or Firefox web browsers (the system will not work in Internet Explorer).
Faculty and staff can request access to the Event Wizard by contacting the IT Help Desk.
Student organizations will not use 25Live directly, but may submit reservation requests via MyUMW.
